Genovese Basil Pesto Recipe

Genovese Basil Pesto



3-4 handfuls of Trusted Freshness® Genovese basil
4 cloves of Garlic
1/2 cup Pine nuts
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
1 TBSP Fresh lemon juice
Salt and Pepper to taste


1. In food processor pulse basil to get into smaller pieces

2. Add pine nuts and garlic pieces, pulse a few times, push down excess with a spatula

3. Add cheese, blend on slower speed, push down excess with a spatula

4. While it is blending, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and lemon juice

5. Mix in salt and pepper by hand
